Loire-born Cedric Perraud has travelled the world making wine. He immediately fell in love with Etna's volcanic terroir and chose to settle permanently on the slopes of Etna, specifically the town of Randazzo on the northeast side of the volcano, where he started Vini Goccia.
Cedric Perraud makes vibrant wines, all created to reflect Etna's unique volcanic terroir. At Vini Goccia, everything is done by hand, the wines ferment spontaneously, filtration is done by racking (moving the wines from container to container) and maceration is short. All this helps to create light, airy wines that exude Cedric's style and Etna's wildness.
