Botella is a wine importer and distributor started by Oliver, Martin, and then Peter joined. All three of us have worked with wine professionally for a number of years as sommeliers and restaurateurs, respectively. Our clear focus is on quality wine made with respect for the work in the fields, no unnecessary additions to the wine and generally as little intervention as possible. We are not puritans who swear by wines without sulfur, or dogmatists with a clear focus on a specific grape or country of production. Our mission is to collaborate with producers who are dedicated to their craft and prefer regenerative and biodynamic cultivation methods. We have all heard the clichés like "wine is poetry in a bottle" - our vision is not to bore our customers with any more of these. At Botella Vin, we want to offer good and well-made wines. We embrace both the serious and the fun - and everything in between. For us, the most important thing is the people and the passion that lies behind each and every wine.
